Well that’s certainly the case with the mini mason jar staring in today’s DIY feature, a petite version of its ever-popular “grownup” counterpart. Compatible with just about any filling, these cutie containers make for ideal guest favors and today we’re showing you three creative ways to fill them up. From foodie appeal to tempting the senses, here’s a breakdown for a few of the looks we love.
The Supplies
Concept #1 – A Little R&R:
- mini mason jar
- for the jar’s lid – decorative border sticker in daiquiri green, personalized to say “thank you”
- natural charm square favor tag and white satin ribbon, to attach the tag and the scoop to the jar
- bath salts and small wooden scoop (we got our scoop at a local craft store)
Concept #2 – For the Foodie:
- mini mason jar
- for the jar’s lid – from the heart design diecut sticker in vintage pink, personalized to say “thank you”
- diy mini mason jar decorating kit (comes with an assortment of printed paper rounds, twine and mini mason jar “thank you” tags)
- homemade salad dressing and a few springs of thyme to attach to the jar’s tag
Concept #3 – A Sweet Smelling Treat:
- mini mason jar
- for the jar’s lid – hearts design small sticker in pastel
- hearts design square tag in pastel and craft paper twine, to attach the tag to the jar
- potpourri (we made our own mix by combining elements of several different premixed blends, and added in dried lavender)
