With most of us off work tomorrow for Good Friday and Easter almost here, I thought I would share a special little treat with all our readers – an extra real wedding! Introducing Amanda + Matt, who became man and wife on January 2nd, 2013 at fabulous Lake Las Vegas! With nods to both beach and garden themes to compliment their venue, they tied it all together with a stunning deep blue hue throughout creating a wedding design that was totally unique! I especially love Amanda’s dress with it’s gorgeous train and her messy yet sophisticated fishtail braid that makes her look like a modern mermaid. Congratulations you two!
Bianca + Eduardo were married in a stunning traditional ceremony at the Church of Santo Domingo de Guzman in Oaxaca, Mexico on April 14th, 2012. With a traditional Oaxacan calenda (parade) to lead their guests to the reception, Bianca + Eduardo’s Mexican destination wedding is simply amazing!
I always love seeing weddings from around the world and Nina + Martin’s wedding from their home in Düsseldorf, Germany was a treat to see! Featuring a vast array of fantastic DIY accessories and accents, Nina + Martin’s wedding is truly inspiring. From Nina sporting her own handmade wedding dress courtesy of her aunt, to the couples personalities being expertly captured in every photo, I am so in awe of how chic yet fun their vintage DIY wedding was. Enjoy!

Not only does the wedding feature multitudes of colors (though a lovely shade of peach is definitely the focus), but the Bride and Groom’s surroundings in beautiful Playa del Carmen are filled with the kind of life that you simply don’t tend to see in North America. It’s rich culturally, musically and architecturally – a perfect location for a wedding, in my humble opinion.

From the drive-through wedding chapels to the Elvis impersonators roaming the streets, getting married in Las Vegas really spews romance, doesn’t it?
OK so maybe not. But if it’s the hot-shot gambling excitement of Sin City you’re after, you can still have it without having to get married next to the gamblers and street vendors actually in Vegas.

For many of us, our wedding is our day. It’s one of the only times in our human existence when all eyes are on us; we are the center of attention. We get pampered, congratulated and even admired – just a few of the many perks that come with being a bride.
Now imagine sharing your wedding day with another couple. Think you could do it?
