Looking for the perfect way to combine your passion for travel into your wedding décor? Our Ambassador, Leona Morelock has done just that. She takes travel inspired wedding decor to a whole new level in this shoot. Use Leona’s suggested tips to pull off your very own travel themed wedding.
Think outside the box when it comes to searching for a venue. I like to use somewhere not always expected. We have a local airport in Bowling Green, Kentucky, so we got permission to use their airplane hanger for this shoot.
Not one for large gatherings? Keep it small and simple.
Leona suggests a small intimate gathering such as a brunch, and “after the brunch the bride and groom could simply walk on a plane and head off to their honeymoon.” How romantic!!
The travel inspired theme doesn’t have to stop at the venue and décor. Why not incorporate the theme on a more personal level with travel inspired favors and labels?
For favors, try toy airplanes for all the children and travel themed boxes for the adults. Try using luggage tags as escort cards and mini champagne bottles with personalized travel themed tags and labels with each guest’s name for that extra personal touch.
Remember . . . Adventure is Out There
