There is no doubt that great weddings are made up of two amazing people in love. But what makes them remain a favorite in your guests’ minds comes down to the overall guest experience. One way to make anyone happy, whether at a wedding or not, is with really good food. Sweet potato fries, anyone? So today we’re featuring some of our favorite ways to get your guests’ taste buds revving, including one of our favorite dessert displays (shown above) from the 2016 Weddingstar magazine. Is your mouth watering yet?
Idea 1: The Dessert Station
The dessert station is always a favorite and allows guests to choose from other desserts besides the wedding cake. This is a great way to cater to everyone’s sweet tooth whether they love pie, cake or candy. Plus, having these smaller bites to choose from gives guests something to nibble on throughout the night, or take home with them to enjoy later on.

Idea 2: The Welcome Drink Station
While food is a definite must at weddings, so are the drinks. And what sweeter way to welcome guests to your reception than by displaying a table of drinks ready to enjoy right by the entrance. Whether it’s your favorite mixed drink, a bottle of beer or a glass of wine, it’s sure to be appreciated. Just don’t forget to set out some non-alcoholic options for those that prefer otherwise. Cheers!

Idea 3: The Popcorn Station
Popcorn is a great choice to serve at weddings and is a favorite for all ages. Create a self-serve popcorn station with dip-dyed baskets full of plain popcorn, then set out mini shakers filled with a variety of popular seasonings. You can even pre-fill these shakers with seasonings for guests to take home as favors.

Idea 4: The Chili ‘n Fries Station
And now for something completely different – delicious, hearty, homemade chili because, why not!? Served grab-n-go style in mingle−friendly bowls that are just the right size, your guests will love this fan favorite. And for those who may not be a fan, have some sweet potato fries at the ready for a snack that’s sure to satisfy. You can even pre-package your favorite chili sauce or spice rub as a favor your guests can use at home.

The dessert and drink station were my favorite! I love the little details that are on everything. It’s all about the small personal touches! The geometric drink design is perfect for my wedding. I would love to order some little shot glasses like that.
