Any planning bride knows that there are some wedding “to dos” that try as you might, you simply can’t get away from tackling. Cue the dreaded guest seating plan. From ensuring table capacities are consistent to considering who wants and needs to sit with whom, mapping out ideal seating arrangements is tedious at best, but unfortunately very necessary. Make the chore easier, at the very least on the eyes, by rewarding your strategic work with a lovely grande finale by way of a simple seating chart kit. Practical, meet pretty. Here’s how to get the look.
- vintage lace seating chart – comes complete with personalized seating chart back, table card template, pre-cut ribbon for chart display and assembly instructions.
- adhesive tape runner
- scissors and hole punch
The Step by Step
Step 1: either hand write your seating plan onto the table card template provided in the kit, or print it out using this downloadable blank table template. Both templates come complete with nine equally sized cards, each representing a table. Once complete, carefully cut out each card.
Step 2: adhere your table cards to your personalized seating chart back card using the tape runner. Make sure your cards are consistently placed centered to their respective boxes.
Step 3: hole punch two holes at the top center of the chart and run the display ribbon provided in the kit through them.
