It’s a sparkly kind of week for us working The Details Blog and we’re loving it! If you visited with us this past Monday you got the 101 on how to add bling to your wedding day. Today we’re taking it one step further, and upping the pretty factor, by taking what we know about bridal bling and applying it to bouquets. And the best part? It takes so very little to add this touch of glam. So go on, get fancy!
The Necessities
Your Flower of Choice + Your Choice of Crystal Needle Accessories. And that’s it. We couldn’t narrow it down to anything less than two combos for our ‘how to’ so we’re sharing both!

The Supplies
We don’t recommend tackling your own bridal bouquet. Floral arrangements come with many challenges. Instead, work with a florist to create your ideal bouquet and infuse your personality by having the florist incorporate the crystal needle accessories that you’ve selected. That said, if you’re of the crafty kind and know flowers well, here are the tools you’ll need to create the bouquets you’ve seen in this post.
- flowers of choice (we used pink ranunculus and pink parrot tulips)
- any type of floral shear, to trim your stems
- floral wire and tape, to keep the bouquet arrangement you create
- scissors to trim your ribbon
- ribbon and your choice of crystal needles to finish off the look and add the bling!
Tip: Before purchasing, make sure to confirm the crystal needle’s length will work with the type of flower you are using.
