Personalizing Your Favors

Personalized Mason Jars
The oh-so-popular mason jar is a favorite! With a personalized printed design you are taking a favor and adding so much more meaning. Some top trends for goodies to fill the jar with include jam, candies, bath salts and hot cocoa and….
For finishing touches think about adding those extra details to your favors. Stickers, tags and personalized ribbon will take your look and really make it personal.
With shadow boxes becoming a popular keepsake trend, the options are endless when it comes to how you use it! This versatile shadow box (with built-in picture frame!) is one of our favorites because of the endless ways you can personalize it. Create one for your best friend, family member, or even just to keep for yourself. Place it on a shelf in your home or you can hang it on a wall since it comes with the necessary attachments. Here are three unique ways to keep your favorite memories on display.
1. Best Friends
There are many gifts you can give your best friend, but one that speaks to the personal memories you share together definitely takes the reigns. Start by selecting your personalized etching from these selections. Then, print your fave picture of the two of you to fit into the back panel and fill the shadow box with trinkets and tokens that remind you of good times. Some ideas could be concert ticket stubs, photobooth photos, handwritten notes and anything else you want to include.
2. Wedding or Anniversary
Whether it’s yours or someone else’s, these shadow boxes make a great wedding or anniversary gift for the same reasons as mentioned above. Choose a unique quote or personalize it with the couples’ married name in a fun script font as shown below. If it’s a wedding gift you can still include a photo, then the couple can replace it with one from their wedding if they choose. Then, to make it even more special, they can store their vows or even petals from the bouquet as a reminder of their best day ever.
3. Party Décor
Last but certainly not least, these fun frames make an awesome addition to any celebration. Choose an etching that fits the style of your day, then add some 3-D contrast with a photo or texture placed inside the back of the box. (We’ve even included a few of our own designs that you can download for free at the bottom of this post!) After the event, change it up! Add a picture and some mementos from your travels, your wedding or anything you’d like to keep on display in your home.

There is no doubt that great weddings are made up of two amazing people in love. But what makes them remain a favorite in your guests’ minds comes down to the overall guest experience. One way to make anyone happy, whether at a wedding or not, is with really good food. Sweet potato fries, anyone? So today we’re featuring some of our favorite ways to get your guests’ taste buds revving, including one of our favorite dessert displays (shown above) from the 2016 Weddingstar magazine. Is your mouth watering yet?
Idea 1: The Dessert Station
The dessert station is always a favorite and allows guests to choose from other desserts besides the wedding cake. This is a great way to cater to everyone’s sweet tooth whether they love pie, cake or candy. Plus, having these smaller bites to choose from gives guests something to nibble on throughout the night, or take home with them to enjoy later on.
Idea 2: The Welcome Drink Station
While food is a definite must at weddings, so are the drinks. And what sweeter way to welcome guests to your reception than by displaying a table of drinks ready to enjoy right by the entrance. Whether it’s your favorite mixed drink, a bottle of beer or a glass of wine, it’s sure to be appreciated. Just don’t forget to set out some non-alcoholic options for those that prefer otherwise. Cheers!
Idea 3: The Popcorn Station
Popcorn is a great choice to serve at weddings and is a favorite for all ages. Create a self-serve popcorn station with dip-dyed baskets full of plain popcorn, then set out mini shakers filled with a variety of popular seasonings. You can even pre-fill these shakers with seasonings for guests to take home as favors.
Idea 4: The Chili ‘n Fries Station
And now for something completely different – delicious, hearty, homemade chili because, why not!? Served grab-n-go style in mingle−friendly bowls that are just the right size, your guests will love this fan favorite. And for those who may not be a fan, have some sweet potato fries at the ready for a snack that’s sure to satisfy. You can even pre-package your favorite chili sauce or spice rub as a favor your guests can use at home.
