4 Unique Centerpiece Ideas {Outdoor Weddings}

The thing is, not every centerpiece has to be exactly the same. The one thing I absolutely love is how creative you can really be. It charms me to no end when I see a wedding that has forgone the use of the traditional flower centerpiece. I think that is why I tend to talk about them so often, I’m just hoping that someone reads my posts and is inspired to do something utterly unique to them, (and then of course send me oodles of fabulous photos that I can rave about)!

1. Watering Can Centerpiece

Add a flower arrangement for color and beauty, or find vintage/older looking watering cans and fill them with dried grasses and flowers for a more rustic look!

2. Lanterns

There are many different kinds of lanterns, some are plain and some extremely decorative. Incorporate them into your centerpieces for additional light and style. The flickering flame will add light and romance when the sun goes down!

3. Oil Lamps (think Aladdin)

Nothing says your wishes are coming true like a magic lamp!

4. Table Top Fountains

Table Fountain

Of all these ideas this one is my absolute favorite. I am a huge fan of the miniature fountains that are out there. It is easy to find ones that are battery or solar operated so that you don’t have to worry about hiding pesky cords! Think about this, a gorgeous little fountain burbling happily, surrounded by stones or flowers in the middle of your outdoor tables.

If the fountain allows for it you could add some water activated lights, floating candles or toss some flowers in there! For a more mystical look, find the mist fountains instead. They look absolutely stunning when lit up!

Do something different, something drastic – put it all out there and create an event that keeps your guests talking… and when you’re done – please come back here and tell me all about it!

Oh, and Happy April Fools’ Day! I hope all the tricks that pop up are pleasant and entertaining!
