Listen up guys. This ones for you! Today we’re talking the ultimate way to ask your best mates to stand by your side as your groomsmen. And it all boils down to one amazing thing….Vegas baby! Give them no option but to say “heck ya!” after spoiling your boys with a weekend of fun. Plan out the festivities, arrange for the travel specifics (no one’s expecting you to foot the bill but arranging the details will earn you mega points), and as a special token of your friendship, send them packing with a few necessities for a weekend in Vegas. Here’s everything you need for the ultimate guy’s goodie bag.
Go Big or Go Home
The only way to do Vegas right is to go all out. Set the right party tone with a personalized, supersized, growler.
He popped the big question. You hollered out an enthusiastic “YES”! The champagne was poured and so now you’re off to the planning board. And what’s one of the first things you’re likely to quickly decide on? The girl crew who’ll stand by your side throughout the whole of your wedding planning journey. It’s a list of names that will no doubt be made up of childhood friends and close family members, all of which are women you simply can’t live without. Why not take the opportunity to show them just how much they mean to you by making the way you pop your “will you be my bridesmaid” ask something extra special. And when we say special we mean pretty and sparkly of course. Sound like a plan? Then here’s everything you need to make it happen.
Presentation is Key
OK, so the bling is what’s best but don’t overlook how you present it. We’re loving the current trinket tray trend, made that much better when personalized just for her.
It would be a serious understatement to say that I’m over the moon excited about today’s post. Not only is it a lovely little creative spin on a traditional place card concept, it also happens to be the first exclusive look into the amazing content gracing the pages of the new 2016 Weddingstar magazine. And when I say this is but a tiny glimpse at a mass of unique wedding ideas, all pulled together to help brides everywhere celebrate beautifully, I’m hardly doing the magazine justice. But no need to take my word for it. Take a peek at the cover reveal concluding today’s post and follow the link to get your hands on everything pretty. And in the meantime, here’s how to make these little lovelies.
Step 1: pull a small mound of faux moss off the ribbon backer. Using a small paint brush, apply mod podge (or any white all purpose glue) to the base of the bell jar and apply the moss. Leave to let dry.
Step 2: once the moss has set, using your twigs create a tunnel in the center of the mound. Apply a small dab of hot glue to the bottom and quickly insert your twigs. Hold until the glue has set and the twigs are securely in place.
Step 3: once your place card has been written out, using the end of your paintbrush, curl the ends of the card. For an authentic scroll effect, angle your brush and do so in opposite direction on either end.
Step 4: hot glue your scroll card to the twigs.

There’s something so wonderful about the blending of tried and true traditions with current day trends, about putting contemporary twists on old school concepts. If you’re like me, a closet sucker for sentiment with a keen eye for pretty, then you’re in for a real treat. Using modern materials and on-trend designs, today’s feature products take the traditional concept of a guest book and elevate it x 100. From gorgeous hardcover bindings to delicately personalized pages, the transformation from old to new is major. As an added bonus, they also happen to make for amazing keepsakes and ideal spots to hold some of your favorite wedding day mementos. And with finishing details this pretty, you’re sure to want to put these books on permanent display.
All In The Details
About the only thing these books have in common with their traditional counterparts is their paper makeup. Beyond that, not a detail was left unchanged. Textured hardcovers hold personalized pages. Lined pages are replaced with blanks to open up the opportunity for how these books are used. And front to back, the design details are right on point.
Your guests have left their mark, now it’s your turn to expand on yours. Further the keepsake value of your guest book by turning any unused pages into scrapbook territory. From a copy of your wedding invitation to candid photos taken by your closest and dearest, this is the perfect place to house those mementos that mean the most.

I don’t think I’d be going out on a limb if I said that most women love sparkly things, specifically those in the diamond family! You don’t have to be a girly girl to appreciate the beauty that bits of glamorous glittery things bring. And that impact goes far beyond personal style. From home decor to wedding day designs, the classic look of glam has long time reigned. And you need only take one quick look at a well designed concept to understand why. Bring on the bling!
There’s absolutely nothing that compares to wedding photos taken by a professional photographer. Someone experienced in telling a couple’s love story through creative images taken on one of the most important days of their lives. But chances are your photographer will spend no more than 10 hours with you (12 if you’re lucky), leaving you with some missed moments certainly worth capturing. Not to worry though, we’ve got just the solution for filling in the gap, all while getting your guests involved in some fun. It’s as simple as putting a disposable, and budget friendly, single use camera into the hands of your guests. Allow them to play photog for a moment, to see what great candid moments they can capture. Here’s the simple breakdown of everything you need to pull off the concept.
Fancy requirements need not apply. Simply set up a small station, whether it be part of another set up like your welcome table or its own stand, and include however many cameras you’d like, as well as a sign explaining the candid moment mission to your guests. Go with a camera design that fits your wedding theme (see all the styles Weddingstar has to offer here), or a neutral and super cute option like the vintage design option shown here.
