Do-It-Yourself Packaging:

Use gift boxes that are large enough to easily fit your biggest gift item. Add sizzle to the bottom of the box and place all of the items on top of the sizzle. Add extra sizzle wherever it is necessary to make sure that everything sits properly and stays in place. Add a few decorative items like gold foil confetti and some real or silk flowers.

Use a craft hole punch to add a hole to a small decorative chalkboard. Create a gift tag by adding baker’s twine to the chalkboard!

Do-It-Yourself Faux Lettering on Glass Jewellery Box:

20 diy_glass1

Download and print the faux lettering worksheet and use it as a guide to write on these glass jewellery boxes. You will also need a white fine tip water-based Sharpie paint marker and painter’s tape.

21 diy_glass2

Clean the glass before starting. Cut out the lettering as shown above and tape it to the back of the  glass lid. Trace the lettering using the Sharpie marker. If you make a mistake, it’s easy to remove the paint using a damp cotton swab or tissue. Allow the paint to dry a few minutes before handling.

Do-It-Yourself Labels on Wine Bottles:

23 diy_bottle

Sure you could just add a mini wine bottle to the gift box but isn’t this so much nicer? Print a photo onto plain white paper and trim it to fit your bottle. Make sure to cover the existing label and use a piece of decorative tape to keep the paper label in place.

Do-It-Yourself Packaging:

24 diy_packaging1

Make sure you are using a gift box that is large enough to to easily fit the biggest gift item. Add sizzle to the bottom of the box and place all of your items on top of the sizzle. Add extra sizzle wherever it is necessary to make sure that everything stays in place. Add a few decorative elements like gold foil party confetti.

8 will_bride6

Make sure that your proposal boxes are as pretty on the outside as the inside using ribbon, real or silk flowers, gold foil party confetti and gift tags. Instead of a gift tag, add a pretty hand lettered detail to the box using a gold Sharpie paint marker.

Stay tuned, the next proposal box post will be all about the flower girls!
