After a long and cold Canadian winter, Spring has finally decided to grace us with her presence and we’re oh so happy to have her! We’re ready for a fresh start, and that’s exactly what this season gives us and what’s got us inspired today.
We can’t help but share our feelings of inspiration and we’re doing it through our latest color story board, Whitewash. There’s nothing much to this color scheme, other than varying simple shades of white, but in its simplicity every square inch of the board oozes fresh beginnings and new possibilities.
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, we wanted to kick off the celebrations and help you channel your inner romantic with a sneak peek of our Pearls and Lace styled wedding feature. Dripping in pearl accents, lace details, natural lighting and a romantic color palette, we promise this feature will have your heart melting in no time. Continue reading →
What drew me to Melanie and Michael’s wedding was not only their gorgeous photos, full of Melanie’s favorite colors of pink and green, but also the amazingly romantic engagement story that Melanie made sure to include – which involved Michael getting down on one knee in the middle of Tiffany’s to propose! With a story like that (and photos that are just as lovely!) I couldn’t wait to share this April wedding to brighten and inspire each of you this Monday morning! Enjoy – and make sure you check out how they incorporated a fun and fabulous nod to their their famous initials!

Anna and Chris had an amazing spring wedding this past April in their local surroundings of Virginia Beach! With colorful details and a light airy flow, their wedding is whimsical and beautiful! I’m especially in love all their simple yet vibrant details and their bright pink and navy color combination that really gives their wedding that something extra. Get ready to be inspired and feel the love in the air – this spring wedding most certainly has extra doses of both! Enjoy!
Audra + Tony’s spring wedding is full of the colors of the season! I am in love with their purple palette, accenting hues, historic venue and floral details – it’s fun, flirty and absolutely gorgeous! I especially adore the tinted lighting they chose for their reception, it just goes to show that little details can make a huge difference! Congratulations you two, your wedding day was picture-perfect and we are so happy to be able to share it!
I love Easter time! Not only does it mean spring is here, with birds chirping again and bunnies running through the fields but it also brings a wonderfully fun color palette back into our lives. Pinks, purples, yellows and greens invade the stores as they also begin to pop back into nature. It’s a great time of year to have a wedding, and it’s even greater to play with all the colors and concepts that fit for an early spring or Easter wedding. Chic yet whimsical, here are my selections to fill you with springtime + Easter wedding inspiration. Enjoy!
Spring is finally here (or it will be as soon as it stops snowing here in Alberta!). Never the less, Easter is almost upon us and that means that spring and summer wedding season is also arriving. With nature finally waking up from it’s winter slumber, our thoughts are once more turning to flowers, and more specifically to the 3 flower trends for S/S 2013 we can’t help but love: the Protea, succulents and Lamb’s Ear!
