Wedding Planning Tips {Plan by Color}: Ravishing Red

Happy Monday! And a very Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian blog readers! In honor of today’s heartfelt holiday, and as a bit of encouragement to spend your Monday cozying up with the one you love, for our latest installment in our Plan by Color series we’re featuring the most romantic hue in the color spectrum, ravishing red. To be specific, we’re celebrating the many shades in the red color family, and those that best compliment them. From bold burgundy to golden yellow, and everything in between, we highly recommend using this radiant range to infuse breathtaking beauty into your wedding day.

Wedding Planning Essentials: Introducing {Inspired by Color}

inspired-by-colour-header

I seem to be excited a lot these days. And a great deal of that is because of all the new creative content I’ve had the pleasure of pulling together for the revamped ‘The Details’ wedding blog. And today is no different. Today marks the start of sharing custom color story boards, boards that are meant to get your creative juices flowing as you plan your own personal wedding design. Pulling together seemingly unrelated elements that combine to tell a story that inspires emotion is a creative activity that I adore. So yet again, I’m very excited!

Inspired by this first for the blog, I’ve selected a spring palette to kick things off. Featuring calm taupes and subtle greys to reflect the quiet awakening of life all around, and soft pinks and mint greens to represent the prettiness of the transition from winter to spring, this c0lor story is all about new beginnings.
