It’s hard to believe that 2010 is coming to a close. One more year is over and a brand new one just about to begin!
In honor of the festivities we are going to feature ways to transform your wedding into a party that your guests will be talking about for years.
For the more carnival type party mood, balloons are one of the first decor items that come to mind. They bring with them the birthday party feel – though I’m sure most of your guests would be grateful if you left out the clowns!
One very important aspect of a great party is great food! If you have decided not to do a dinner, but are still offering drinks, it is necessary to supply your guests with food. Otherwise you’ll end up with a bunch of irritable and completely sloshed guests – not the best combination in the world.
Marvelous hors d’œuvre platters are a great way to keep everyone happy. The price will depend on what it is that you choose but keeping such foodstuffs readily available will do a lot to ensure that your guests have a good time! For deserts there are many individually portioned deserts to choose from – including CUPCAKES!
Speaking of drinks, champagne is great to feed the party atmosphere as well as cocktails and martinis! Perhaps a signature drink custom for the wedding?
Who needs to tap on champagne glasses to initiate a kiss when you have Kazoos available??
These little noise makers are sure to get the attention of the Bride and Groom but I’m not sure I would recommend them if there is alcohol involved. Once or twice is fun but all night long could get under your skin – just a little!
I’d like to wish you all a very Happy New Year!
See you in 2011!
