The following is a guest post from Maria, owner of Le Papillion Events. As a wedding and event design specialist, Maria has been a part of her fair share of weddings. Today she gives her 5 most valuable tips on how to make sure you’re day goes off without a hitch and looks fabulous!
With the launch of our latest style lookbook, Equestrian Love we featured a ton of great homespun inspiration for your perfect rustic wedding. And, nothing says charming or country better than pie! Keep your own rustic wedding in theme by giving guests a wedding favor they’ll love (and devour!) by making miniature pies. Heck, we even have an adorable Miniature Pie Packaging Kit that will give you everything you need to package your pastries so they’re pretty as a picture! You just need to whip up a few batches of mini pies and today we are showing you how – our designer Tara has even included her secret recipes for you to print!
I always love seeing weddings from around the world and Nina + Martin’s wedding from their home in Düsseldorf, Germany was a treat to see! Featuring a vast array of fantastic DIY accessories and accents, Nina + Martin’s wedding is truly inspiring. From Nina sporting her own handmade wedding dress courtesy of her aunt, to the couples personalities being expertly captured in every photo, I am so in awe of how chic yet fun their vintage DIY wedding was. Enjoy!
This is one of the most spectacular (not to mention fun!) weddings I have ever seen! Rashida + Chafula were married at the Ritz-Carlton in New Orleans on August 11th, 2012. Complete with masquerade masks, an authentic second line band and 3 different dresses, Rashida + Chafula’s wedding is ritzy, glamorous and like something out of a dream! Enjoy!
